What are we doing throughout this crisis?

Our termly classes  paused in March due to the threat and restrictions of Coronavirus.

We instead offered FREE Online Dance classes every Sunday at 2pm  on our Facebook and Instagram Pages before reopening at Alford House in Kennington.

We are now able to REOPEN again from April 18th! We are unable to accept new students at this point due to COVID guidelines other than for MINI B'S (age 4-7) where we are launching a second class! Get in touch to find out more!

If you are able to donate to help us survive this crisis then please do so at www.crowdfunder.co.uk/thebouryacademycic

The Boury Academy CIC is a Not For Profit Performing Arts School designed to increase access to Affordable Professional Training to children and young people age 4-18.

We are based in Oval, Lambeth and currently operate on Sunday Afternoons.

Our Mission is to increase access to The Arts, to increase Diversity in The Arts through that access to affordable training, and to encourage creativity, community cohesion, confidence and provide a safe place to be outside of school hours.

Our students are incredible. We also have a Professional Acting Agency for them and many have worked across Stage, Film and Screen.

We intend to give the same or a BETTER standard of training than any traditional stage school and have won multiple Awards for our work with young people.

Performing Arts builds skills that are transferable to lots of different aspects of life. From confidence and creativity to health and fitness and  self expression. The Boury Academy aims to create a community of children of all different age groups, and from different schools within the borough, and to provide a constructive place to be and goals to aim towards.

A career in Performing Arts should not be out of reach for any child that has the courage and determination to pursue it...

The Boury Academy Board Members are; Caroline Boury, Rakesh Boury, Sasha Venmore- Rowland and Kage Douglas.

We are delighted to be supported by various organisations.
